In 2010, ApplicantStack™ continued to grow and improve based on customer feedback and industry trends. We appreciate your input and are happy to release our latest features and functionality to our customers.
We are pleased to announce the ability to use your own custom domain for your Job Board, rather than the default of applicantstack.com. Under Settings, you are able to change the domain to match your company specific domain.
Note that you must own the domain name and also make the appropriate changes to the DNS. For more detailed information on how to implement, see our Knowledge Base article:
On the Jobs Tab, you are now able to Filter Jobs by Individual User. When a User is selected, the List will display all the Jobs where that user is a Job Owner or Hiring Manager. This feature is especially useful for Administrators and Recruiters, providing an efficient way to view just the jobs for a particular Recruiter or Hiring Manager.
New Reporting Datasets
Under Reports, we are now offering two new Datasets: History and Job Board Accounts.
The History dataset has the ability to return a history of Global activity for an account. In the first release of this feature, it will show a history of all Candidate Search commands. This feature supports OFCCP Compliance. To sample this feature, conduct a few Candidate Searches and then run a report using this Dataset. You will find the information about those searches, i.e. what user searched on and when.
The Job Board Account dataset allows reports to be run on Candidates who have logged on and created an Account. If you utilize the Account functionality on your Job Board, this feature allows you to see basic information for candidates who created an account on your job board. This dataset becomes useful for a general report or to follow up with candidates who started the application process but didn’t submit one.
Job Listing Available for Reporting
Also under Reports, for the Jobs Dataset, the Job Listing Field is now available. Use of this field will return the entire Listing of the job (with formatting stripped out) in a report where it is selected. This addition is useful when exporting Jobs out of the system or to run a general job report that includes a detailed listing for each job.
The addition of Status on the Users page displays if a User is Active or Inactive. Through Setup under Users, an individual is marked Active when they need access to the system. If a user is no longer utilizing the system (a job they are working on is filled) you can change them to Inactive. Additionally, Administrators can see the last date/time a user logged on to ensure they are able to access the system.
Under Settings, there is a new setting, Use SSL.
If utilized, all the job board pages will use HTTPS rather than HTTP. Running through SSL means all the application data will be encrypted. This is recommended if your organization is capturing confidential data such as Social Security Numbers on your job board, or if you utilize SSL for your main website.
Notice on History Tab
The History tab for Candidates now contains an entry Type listed as Notice. This type indicates system Notifications sent to users in response to a workflow action. Therefore, the History tab is now an efficient place to verify that an Email notification was sent out to a particular user.
