The Search Marketing manager will set-up, create and execute online ad campaigns on behalf of all agency clients. This position reports to the Media Director and is responsible for campaign strategy, bid management and analysis of the client's search marketing campaigns, helping to achieve client goals and objectives. This position requires a candidate that excels in client service, project management and data analysis. The right candidate must be enthusiastic, pro-active, detail-oriented, and a hardworking professional able to work well in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support search marketing campaigns for all agency clients.
- Responsible for analyzing, recommending and implementing tactical improvements to meet client online search marketing objectives (ROI, CPA, etc).
- Deliver general and specialized client requests: including billing inquiries, click activity inquiries, bidding requests, search listings relevancy issues, search marketing trends, etc.
- Understand and manage client's media buying cycles, product/service update schedules, online marketing philosophy and goals, target demographics, etc.
- Produces detailed campaign performance analysis and presentations
- Act as the client champion and agency representative to the search engines and ensure optimal campaign implementation.
- Regular face-to-face client visits to build and maintain deep-level partnerships.
- Responsible for special projects as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications: The successful candidate must have:
- At least two years of experience in search engine marketing.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
- Strong analytical experience and communication skills.
- Problem identifier and solver.
- Able to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Google AdWords certification.
The Search Marketing Manager should possess process management and multitasking abilities. He/she should be a team player, with creativity and a professional demeanor. The right candidate has the ability to adapt to a changing environment and to function independently or as part of a team.
