General Duties:
The main responsibilities are to observe, document, report, take action, follow-up and to promote the quality of life for people with even the most complex health issues in a community setting. Assure that all medical information is secured and kept private according to HIPPA regulations. Provide emotional and physical comfort to the consumers. Observe, record, and report the condition of the consumer including signs and symptoms. Schedule individuals - with the doctors. Fill out medical visit forms. Make sure immunizations are current and documented. Provide current and accurate medical information as needed. Perform all other necessary tasks and duties as requested.
Qualifications
Ø High school or general education diploma required at a minimum.
Ø Required: graduation from an accredited school of nursing and have an unencumbered license.
Ø Bilingual skills in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Ø Ability to work affably and effectively with members of the Clinic team. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of this position.
Ø Ability to maintain strict compliance with HIPPA standards.
Ø Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate competent and effective communication skills (oral and written).
Ø Must be sensitive to, knowledgeable of, respectful toward, and an advocate for the client base served by the Community Council of Idaho and Clinic.
Ø Ability to receive and provide feedback.
Ø Good driving record
Ø Upon hire, the successful candidate must provide: Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance.
Ø First Aid and CPR Certification.
Ø Employment contingent on the ability of the successful applicant to obtain an acceptable criminal background investigation clearance and fingerprint clearance.
Ø Evidence of no communicable disease.
