Responsibilities 

• Market firm services to prospective clients.
• Manage audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion while managing multiple client demands.
• Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.  
• Anticipate and address client needs.
• Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities.  
• Manage and develop client relationships.  
• Conduct effective meetings with management and Board of Directors to discuss audit planning and financial results.
• Manage audit staff assigned to engagements and review work paper files.
• Develop and mentor staff through training and effective performance feedback.
• Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and the budget for projects.
• Manage scheduling and load balancing for engagements.
• Draft major proposals and bids.

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Public Accounting working in an audit role.
• Solid understanding of audit and attest services with knowledge of FASB regulations and GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university.
• Ability to travel.
• Licensed CPA.  
• Ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide excellent client service, and possess strong communication.
• Advanced analytical and research abilities.
• Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm, presenting a positive image of self and AKT.
